Description:

Monarchies start to change
1. Retained feudal income while also taxing towns, merchants, and peasants.
2. The new monarchs made pro armies
3. They made centralized bureacracies
4.The negotiated a new relationship with the Catholic Church

France- Charles, Louis, Francis(Gallican liberites)
England- Henry 7 and 8 (Star chamber, dissolve monasteries, severed the catholic ties)
Spain- (No religious tolerance)

Started the procress towards absolutism, but not nearly there yet.
