French and Indian War (28 mai 1754 – 10 févr. 1763)
Description:
Conflicts between British and French for control of Eastern North America. The French and Indian War resulted in a massive territorial gain for the victorious British, but that came with massive debts. The problem with these debts is that Great Britain sought out financial aid from the colonies themselves, without their consent. This would eventually be a contributing factor to the Revolutionary War.
