Description:

René-Robert Cavelier, sieur de La Selle was from France. he found the Mississippi River the first time he went but, the secound time he went back he missed the mouth by 400 miles. He kept looking and looking but decided to stop in Texas. He established Fort St. Luis and claimed Texas for the French for two years but, then he eventually got murdered by his own crew.
