Description:
Democritus was a Greek philosopher in the 5th century BCE as a student of the renowned philosopher Aristotle. Democritus came up with the idea of The Void, and Atomos, where Everything is made up of Atomos, and everything else is just Void. This was not backed up by any experiments, and was rejected by the general public for Aristotle's theory that everything was made up of the "elements", or Water, Earth, Fire, and Air.
