Mormon Migration to Utah (1 janv. 1846 – 30 déc. 1857)

Description:

After years of persecution being chased from Ohio, Missouri and Illinois, and their founder Joseph Smith had been killed, their new leader Brigham Young announced that the LDS church would be leaving the United States and going West into the territory then owned by Mexico. The members were all gathering for protection and searching for what they called "Zion". They wanted a place that was isolated, had not been settled yet, and had enough water and farm-able land to survive independent of other people.
