Punic Wars (1 janv. 246 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 146 av. J.-C.)

Description:

The Punic Wars were a series of wars fought between Rome and Carthage. At the time, they were some of the largest wars ever fought. The war ended with the conquest and destruction of Carthage. Legend has it that, upon defeating Carthage, the Roman general Scipio Aemilianus Africanus salted the earth in and around Carthage so that no one would be able to live there again!
