Description:
After only 3 years since the end of the French protectorate, Japan invaded the Ezo Republic after a Japanese ship sank in the waters to the west of the Kuril Islands.The Ezo republic never really stood a chance and after a short blockade, surrendered to Japan with only mild land conflicts.
