Berlin Blockade and Airlift (24 juin 1948 – 12 mai 1949)
Description:
In response to both the reunification the French, American, and British occupation zones, as well as the introduction of the German Deutsche Mark, the Soviets cut off all access to West Berlin from the West via road and train.
