French Indian War 1. The French and Indian war was fought to decide if Britain or France would be the strong power in North America. 2. The French win but then go in dept. 3. France gave Britain control of Canada and most of the land east of the Mississippi River (8 juill. 1753 – 1 janv. 1763)
