Amratian culture/Naqada I culture (Egypt) (28 oct. 4400 av. J.-C. – 28 oct. 3500 av. J.-C.)
Description:
The Naqada culture of Predynastic Egypt traded with Nubia to the south, the oases of the western desert to the west, and the cultures of the eastern Mediterranean to the east. They imported obsidian from Ethiopia. They were closely related to other Afro-Asiatic populations of the Horn of Africa and the Maghreb. They were well-known for their adobe architecture.
