Prince Hydd Ned'Rhavoc was the first Simran to be crowned Prince since the First Simran War of Independence, and defeated Emperor Iszvan III at the Battle of Hwyrtozet, securing Simran independence.Hydd's reign did not end with his death. Instead, the Prince claimed to have received a vision of Ranwyl, the legendary sword of Rhianon, and departed into the eastern sea with a small fleet to retrieve it, promising to return when the Simrans needed him most.
