Dhofar Rebellion (1 janv. 1962 – 21 juin 1966)

Description:

Warring factions: Primarily between DLF (Dhofart Liberation Front) and the Sultan of Oman (With the United Kingdom, Iran, and Jordan).
Intent: Overthrow the sultan and end British rule in the region.
Support: The Shah of Iran sent the Imperial Army to help the Sultan. Oman was able to win with the use of British-trained SAS (Special Air Services)
Location: Southern Oman
DLF was funded by Chinese and Soviet weaponry.
