Description:

OpenAI releases the o3 reasoning model, part of its o‑series trained to think longer before responding. In ChatGPT, o3 can use tools agentically—including web search, Python, file and image analysis, and image generation—and introduces “thinking with images” by integrating visuals into its chain of thought. OpenAI makes o3 available to Plus, Pro, and Team users immediately (Enterprise and Edu follow in a week) and to developers via the Chat Completions and Responses APIs.
