-Lenin died on January 21, 1924 from a stroke, though he was left home throughout 1922
-Throughout Lenin’s time during sickness, Stalin explored this period to build a new economy.
-Stalin moved up as leader
-Stalin thought that Lenin’s ‘New Economic Policy’ was too capitalist
-Stalin focused on rapid industrialisation
