字真如，广东合浦曲樟（今属广西）客家人，北伐将领，抗日名将。从军而信佛。任民国政府军事委员、广东省政府主席、代理行政院院长，建国后任全国人大常委会委员；系民国时代国民党上将，铁四军的元老。民革的创始人之一。
