Description:
The Anglo-Zulu War took place between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom in South Africa.The British wanted to take control of Zulu land, but the Zulus, led by King Cetshwayo, fought back strongly. The war ended with the Zulu kingdom being defeated and taken over by the British.
It was important because it highlighted expansion of British control in South Africa.
