Rape of Nanjing (1 déc. 1937 – 1 janv. 1938)

Description:

200,000 to 300,000 Chinese civilians killed or mutilated, and raping and sexually assaulting women. This was during the Second Sino-Japanese War, and a war crime. This is an example of civilians being involved with the war even if they are not directly a part of it.
