Law of Effect (1 janv. 1903 – 1 janv. 1914)
Description:
He is known for Father of educational psychology, Law of effect and Behavior modification.
Thorndike's law of effect states that behaviors followed by a reward or reinforcement are more likely in the future, whereas behaviors followed by a punishment are less likely in the future. This idea was an early foundation for behaviorism. His research on animal learning, especially the Law of Effect, helped shape behaviorism's focus on observable behaviors.
