Berg wrote over 3,000 Mo Letters from 1969 to 1994.Even after his seclusion in the 1970s, he continued to lead The Children of God through these writings.
The letters contained teachings, rules, prophecies, sexual doctrines, and apocalyptic predictions.
Many letters promoted controversial and abusive practices, including Flirty Fishing, child sexualization, and conspiracy theories.
