Description:
- After the formation of the Bratislava Working Group by the political and religious elite and the Jewish underground, which put pressure on Tiso's government once it assumed that most of the 58,000 Jews who had been deported were dead (7,000 children)- Left the remaining 24,000 Jews relatively safe
