Paleolithic Era (1 janv. 2580000 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 11700 av. J.-C.)
Description:
An era refered to as the stone age, spanned from 2.58 million years ago, to about 11,700 BC. This era can be divided into three parts: lower, middle, and upper. The Lower stage is split into two others: the Oldowan, and Acheulean stages. The Oldowan stage saw the development of chopping tools (2.58 mil - 1 mil years ago), and the Acheulean stage saw hand axes and cleavage tools emerge (1.6 mil - 250,000 years ago).
The Middle era saw flake tools and the first use of fire (250,000 - 30,000 years ago), and the Upper stage emerged more sophisticated tools (40,000 - 10,000 years ago)
