Boris (1 janv. 986 – 24 juill. 1015)
Description:
Son of Vladimir the Great. Brother of: Vysheslav, Sviatopolk I, Yaroslav, and GlebPrince of Rostov
Boris, had been sent south in war by his father. Hearing of his father's death Boris' army demanded he take the throne. When he refused they abandoned him. Sviatopolk sent a peace ambassador to his camp. Where in the night he was murdered.
Was canonized as a martyr.
