Solon's reforms (1 janv. 403 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 402 av. J.-C.)
Description:
Solons reforms refer to a legislative and economic reform which was known to “shake off burdens” as a response to the debt crisis of Greece. Under Solon’s reform with all debts being abolished. Solon also strengthened the Athenian economy under his reforms by banning all produce trades except from olive oil and restoring the land that farmers had lost to aristocratic creditors.
