Description:
Solon wanted to revise or abolish the older laws of Draco. He further strengthened the Athenian economy by encouraging the growth if Attica's trade and industry. He forbade the export of produce other than olive oil, reformed the standard of weights and measures, and granted immigrant craftsmencitizenship.
