Description:
The United States adopted the 22nd amendment to the constitution in 1951. This limited the number of terms a president can serve. This was one of the 273 recommendations by the Hoover Commission, which was originally created by President Harry S. This was adopted by the federal government, which was approved and sent out to the states.
