Description:
Arrival of the Beaker People (c. 2,500 BC): The Beaker culture, named after its distinctive pottery, spread into Britain around 2,500 BC. The Beaker people introduced new burial practices (single graves in round barrows), metalworking (copper and later bronze), and further developed agricultural practices. Their arrival also coincided with significant genetic changes in the population.
