T'Chaka is assassinated by Erik N'Jadaka Stevens, leader of a rebellion and son of Prince N'Jobu. Backed by the Mpaka and Mto tribes, they succeed in taking control of the agricultural lands surrounding Birnin Zana and siege the city.
