The death of the Author:
According to Foster, what the author writes says something about his view, but his point of view differs from the readers their point of view. This means the author is no longer of import, only his writings will be. Language only knows a subject but not a person. This will mean that the viewer is free to have his own interpretation about the subject, but not about the author.
