Guillaume Apollinaire (26 août 1880 – 9 nov 1918)
Description:
Guillaume Apollinaire (Rome, 26 august 1880 - Paris, 9 november 1918), was writer and poet.
Apollinaire's traditional use of language in his work had led to a fundamental soil for the Dadaïsme, which is a cultural movement since the first world war.
The artists of Dada engaged in mixed forms of visual arts, poetry, theater and graphic design. In terms of attitude, the movement shows kinship with nihilism through the deliberately irrational and undermining of the generally accepted standards. Though the movement was for a short period of time, his influence was huge.
