Description:
The Women's Rights Movement was a social event. It was spawned from the abolition movement. It started with the Declaration of Sentiments. The Declaration of Sentiments used similar language to the Declaration of Independence, like 'We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal.' It was successful in the end, although it took almost a century.
