The great depression (1 janv. 1929 – 1 janv. 1941)

Description:

When: The Great depression lasted from 1929 to 1941.
Where: It had started in the US, but eventually it had spread all around the globe
Who: there's not exactly a "who" as to how it happened but the causes seem to be the stock market crash of 1929, the collapse of world trade because of the the Smoot-Hawley Tariff, and lots of bank failure.
What: The great depression is known as the worst economic downturn in the history of the world of industrialization. Unemployment rates had peaked at 30%, and still kept at double digits through the entire decade.
Why: it happened because of bank failures, loss in money supply, government policies and much more
Impact: because of the great depression, people have changed how they save money, to their job preferences, and even things like birth rates??
