Description:
The majority of people who lived in Hati were enslaved. The people who were enslaved were very harsh in their treatment of French owners of slaves. The slaves were forced to work on coffee and sugar plantations. The slaves wanted rights and privileges, and after trying still had no luck.The Hatians got there Independence in 1804
