Description:
The Great March of Return was a series of Palestinian protests near the Israel-Gaza border, over the right of Palestinians to return to their ancestorial homeland. What began as weekly and peaceful demonstrations along the border dissolved into chaos as the year went on when Israel began using lethal force.
