Operation Rolling Thunder (2 mars 1965 – 2 nov 1968)
Description:
This was a maintained air raid by the US government over three years on North Vietnam. It had four main objectives, to boost the moral of the Southern Vietnamese, to stop the flow of materials by the Northern Vietnamese, to destroy their industrial bases and air bases, and to stop support for the communist insurgency in the South.
