The Dust Bowl (1 janv. 1930 – 1 janv. 1936)
Description:
The Dust Bowl was a period of dreadful dust storms that swept over the Southern Plains. People and livestock were killed and crops failed across the entire region, raising poverty and hunger. The Dust Bowl intensified the Great Depression and drove many farming families, roughly 2.5 million people, across the west coast in search of work and better living conditions.
