Early Tensions (1 janv. 1830 – 1 janv. 1850)
Description:
The whites feared the Indians greatly. Indians often raided neighbouring tribes, and white settlers would get caught in between these conflicts and assumed they were threatening them.Many whites believed themselves to be superior to the Indians and were extremely racist toward them.
For Indians, the migrants disrupted their way of life through hunting buffalo and settling on their land.
