Communications Act of 1934 (1 janv. 1934 – 16 mai 1953)

Description:

This act created the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to regulate telephone, telegraph, and radio communications industries. Following what the populist party said in the Omaha platform in the transportation section about the government regulating these things for the good of the people. The government does not own these things they only set some guidelines for them. It is important that it is in the ownership of the private individuals rather than the government because giving the government control of such important things could give the government too much control and power.
