Description:

Due to ideological differences between the Sangheili and San Shyum, the two resolved to remove each other from the galaxy. The war was brutal, and it ended when the Sangheili breached their code of honour and began researching Forerunner relics. After this war, the San Shyum wrote the Writ of Union forming a Covenant Empire shared between the two races.
