The Fascist-ization of Switzerland (11 mai 1940 – 20 avr. 2001)

Description:

May 11th, 1940: Germany simultaneously invades and occupies Luxembourg & Switzerland.

May 7th, 1945: After the surrender of Germany, Switzerland quickly expels all military powers from the country, turning into a 'hermit kingdom' and forming a consulship (like the Romans).

1956: Switzerland opens itself back up to imports and exports with Europe (excluding Germany, Italy, & East Europe).

1972-1981: Switzerland's social stance switches to a more Democratic favorability, ending the 27 year long consulship system. In 1981, Dario Huel was inaugurated as the first Italian leader of Switzerland in the post-WW2 world. Huel opened trade with Italy, but refused to do so with Germany.

November 2000: Helvet Schmice (also known as Wenar, meaning "Wiener") ran for Swiss office under a 'nice-sounding' nationalist party. He ended up winning the election even though some amount of fraud was theorized.

April 2001: The combination of the growing nationalism in Switzerland with the evermore-growing trend of communism enticed President Schmice to go more authoritarian with his ruling. He ordered the growth of guerrilla defence tactics as well as the expulsion of suspected communists and nazis.
Switzerland also eventually ally with other to-be authoritarian nations.
