The great scientist and polymath, Ibn-Sina (980 - 1037), built upon the scientific processes postulated by Aristotle,
but was one of the first philosophers to bring the metaphysical issue of God into the picture.
-al-Haytham is commonly regarded as the first scholar to define the modern scientific method, laying down the steps of the scientific
process and attempting to unite the induction [of predictions and generalizations with the deduction [8] of experiments.
-scientists should not regard themselves as infallible and that they should be open to criticism.
-Al-Biruni, who was the first
philosopher to understand the importance of errors within scientific experimentation.
-experiment would contain
small and random fluctuations, and that repeated experimentation was the only way to neutralize these inaccuracies.
