The Parsley Massacre, also known as El Corte (The Cutting), took place in October 1937 in the Dominican Republic. The massacre occurred under the regime of Dominican Republic's dictator Rafael Trujillo. The violence primarily targeted Haitians and individuals of Haitian descent living in the Dominican Republic, and it resulted in the death of thousands of people. (1 oct. 1936 – 1 oct. 1947)
