Reformatory Movement (1 janv. 1870 – 1 janv. 1970)
Description:
Started in 1870 at the meeting of the National Prison Association of Cincinnati. Enoch Wines (1806-1879) and Zebulon Brockway (1827-1920) adopted the principles. The reformatory was designed for younger, less hardened offenders between 16 and 30.
