Description:
On the fourth of October, 1066, the Battle Of Hastings occurred. William the Conqueror defeated the Anglo-Saxon Army and also killed King Harold II of England. On Christmas day, William the Conqueror was crowned king in Westminster Abbey. After ruling for 21 years, he died leaving the Anglo-Norman state to his sons.
