Description:
About a month earlier, France signed an armistice and quit World War II. Now the British had to fight alone against the German military, which had conquered the majority of Western Europe in under two months. After months of fighting, the Royal Air Force defeated the United Kingdom against very large attacks by the Luftwaffe, Nazi Germany's air force.
