First Crusade (15 août 1096 – 12 août 1099)
Description:
The most successful of the Crusades, the First Crusade was a three-year-long campaign that ended in August 12, 1099, and resulted in the capture of Jerusalem and the creation of the Crusader states in the Levant. It also allowed for the restoration of much of the previously lost lands in Anatolia to the Byzantines.
