WW2 (the Second World War) is often considered one of the deadliest conflicts in human history. More than 50 nations were involved, and they fought on the land, sea, and sky. The war commenced when Nazi Germany invaded Poland and then spread around the globe. The war ended after Japan surrendered to the USA after atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.60-80 million people died including 55 million citizens and 6 million Jews muredered in Nazi camps.
