During the early half of the War of 7 Emperors, Morínam was stuck in the Wogon capital, Ra Dernim, due to a plague locking down the city. Once he arrived in the Empire, he met with his supporters and marched onto Dinisum and overthrew Tousam Edam, his nephew. However, his reign almost lasted a year when his son, Vaudalítam, who was in his inner circle, murdered Morínam, taking the throne for himself.
