Description:
Trpimirovići are the only Croatian ruling dynasty from which Croatian princes and later kings were elected.The dynasty reached its peak during the reign of Petar Krešimir IV. , who expanded the kingdom, and it ended in 1091 with the death of his nephew Stephen II, the successor of King Zvonimir who left no male heir.
