Previous dating (for reference): 1898-1805However, this dating may make more sense considering the Hyksos ruling over a significant portion of the Nile delta during this period, allowing the proper environment of related peoples to allow Israel to grow into a nation.
This dating also is in line with the Biblical dating, and makes the most sense giving the length of the generations leading to Moses.
