Description:
After the capture of Nanking by the Japanese military, there was a massacre of the Chinese citizens who lived in the city. The official estimate of civilians/unarmed soldiers killed was 300,000. Of those 300,000, over 20,000 Chinese women had been raped during the Nanking occupation. Of those 20,000, many were killed afterwards.
